Merging ideas
The Hyperproof Ideas portal has moderators that review your ideas periodically. If multiple ideas are submitted that are similar, the moderator can merge all of them into a single idea. Consider the following when ideas are merged.
Child ideas
Are merged into another more comprehensive parent idea
Contain a merge note with a link to the parent idea
Are locked for commenting, voting, subscribing, or flagging
Generate a notification to subscribed users when merged
Parent ideas
Contain links to one or more child ideas
Inherit votes from child ideas
Inherit subscribed users from child ideas
Do not inherit comments from child ideas
Allow commenting, voting, subscribing, and flagging
