Release Notes - 2025-JUL-10

Added

Attachments on tasks

  • You can add attachments to tasks to help task assignees understand tasks more effectively. Task assignees can view these examples while working to provide the required proof.

  • Administrators, compliance managers, and users who are managers or contributors on a task can add, view, download, delete, and convert attachments to proof.

  • If a task is integrated with another system, such as Jira or Asana, attachments can't be viewed from the corresponding task in the third-party system. Attachments can only be accessed by opening the Hyperproof task.

  • For more information, see the following pages in the Help Center.

  • See the Attaching non-proof documents to various objects idea in the Ideas portal.

Groups as evaluation assignees

  • You can assign evaluations to groups, continuing our rollout of groups across all Work items and objects.

  • See Assigning a group to an evaluation in the Help Center for more information.

Connection notifications - GA

  • To complement connection health for Hypersyncs and tasks, notifications are now part of the workflow when an unhealthy connection is identified. Users receive a weekly digest every Monday to inform them of any issues with their integrations, plus links to follow to restore a healthy connection.

  • See the Connection health: Notifications idea in the Ideas portal.

  • See Connection health notifications in the help center for more information.

Vendors

  • Vendor freshness - You can now assign a freshness status and expiration date to vendors.

  • Vendor dashboard -

    • Added a Freshness widget.

    • Refreshed the Questionnaires widget.

      • Renamed the widget to Open Questionnaires and added a tooltip explaining its function.

      • Open questionnaires are displayed in order based on the longest time since the questionnaire was sent.

      • Added interval options of 7, 14, and 31 days. The intervals control how far back Hyperproof looks for incomplete questionnaires based on the date they were sent.

    • Refreshed the Upcoming Renewals widget.

      • Renamed the widget to Renewals and added a tooltip explaining its function.

      • Added date filtering for expiring vendor contracts. Vendors are listed with their expired contract date in ascending order of the most recent to the farthest expiration date.

      • Vendor names are links you can click to navigate to a specific vendor for more details.

      • Added interval options of 30, 60, and 90 days to check for vendors with a contract end date in the range of today through the selected interval.

    • See Understanding the Vendor Register dashboard in the Help Center for more information.

    • See the Vendor Dashboard: custom date range idea in the Ideas portal.

Audits grid view bulk edit membership

  • When editing multiple Audits, clicking the Members option allows you to edit membership roles for multiple users of that audit and associated requests. This process can take several minutes, especially for larger datasets or complex configurations, so feel free to open a new tab and work in other parts of the product while it is processing. It is also updating all requests within the selected audits.

  • See Adding a user or users to audits in bulk in the Help Center for more information.

  • See the Bulk assign users to audits idea in the Ideas portal.

Improved

Policy

  • Templates - Added a Browse Templates option on the policy grid that links to the policy template library in the Help Center. From there, you can download our best practice-filled templates and adapt them for your own policy needs. See Policy templates in the Help Center.

  • User interface updates - We have made a set of minor updates to the Overview tab, including new icons, renaming the main sub-section to Details, and moving the Policy Owner field to a dedicated sub-section.

Navigation pane

  • The menu bar along the left side of the Hyperproof window has been updated to improve visual clarity and accommodate the growing list of modules.
