Adding a directory
Roles and permissions
The following roles can add a directory of company employees to an access review:
Administrators with manager or contributor permissions for the access review
Compliance managers with manager permissions for the access review
Users with manager permissions for the access review
When setting up an access review, you can import a list of all of the people in your company along with some additional details. This list can include employees, contractors, consultants, or interns. The import is a snapshot of your data during the review. During the review process, people and job information is displayed with the user account information. Your directory can be imported from a file in CSV format or using one of the supported Hypersyncs. If you are importing from a CSV file, you may be able to export the data from a directory service or a Human Resources system.
To import your directory from a file, it must be in CSV format. See Importing a directory from a CSV file.
To use a Hypersync to populate your directory in Hyperproof, you must have one of the supported directory services or Human resources systems. See Importing a directory with a Hypersync.
Note
You can configure only one Hypersync per directory.
Note
If you plan to assign users' direct managers as reviewers for application user access lists, be sure that the directory you are importing has the name and email address of each employee's manager. If that information is missing and you select Direct manager as the reviewer when configuring your application user lists, the default sysadmin is assigned as the reviewer. See Using direct managers as reviewers for user access.
