Elastic Cloud proof types and permissions

Hyperproof supports collecting proof from Elastic Cloud

When you create a Hypersync between Hyperproof and Elastic Cloud, you can automatically collect the following proof types:

  • Deployment Instances

  • Deployments

  • List of Users

Requirements

To connect to Elastic Cloud and collect proof your Elastic Cloud configuration must meet the following requirements:

  • An administrator on Elastic Cloud must create an API key for use by Hyperproof. Click the profile icon, choose Organization, choose API keys, and click Create API Key. The API key must have the Organization Owner role.

Note

Hyperproof connects to many third-party systems that frequently change, including the system interface. Contact your System Administrator or the third-party provider for assistance meeting the requirements to integrate with Hyperproof and collect the proof you need.

Connection configuration

When you create a Elastic Cloud Hypersync for the first time you must provide the following information:

  • API Key - Enter the API Key that Hyperproof should use to access Elastic Cloud

Note

You only need to connect Hyperproof to the app once, and then you can create as many Hypersyncs as you need. Additionally, you can create multiple Hypersyncs for a single control or label.
