Troubleshooting Hyperproof and Google Drive
Sometimes a file might not sync because of its settings. Follow the steps below to ensure that the proper settings are selected in Google Drive.
Note
You must have proper permissions in Google Drive as either a Content Manager or Manager to change the share settings on a shared file or folder. If you don't have these permissions, contact your IT department for help.
To change the share settings on a file:
In Google Drive, open the file that won't sync.
Click the Share button in the upper-right corner.
Below General access, verify that the file is set to Anyone with the link. If the file is not set to Anyone with the link, it won't sync. If you don't have permission to change the General access settings, contact your IT department.
Click Done.
To change the share settings on a folder:
In Google Drive, right-click the folder you want to share.
Select File information.
Click the Manage access button in the right pane.
The Manage members window opens.
Click the Settings icon.
Verify that the Allow viewers and commenters... checkbox is selected. If the checkbox is not selected, the folder won’t sync. If you don't have permission to change the settings, contact your IT department.
Click Done.
