HR / Payroll apps proof types and permissions
Note
Hyperproof connects to many third-party systems that frequently change, including the system interface. Contact your System Administrator or the third-party provider for assistance in meeting the requirements to integrate with Hyperproof and collect the proof you need.
Hyperproof supports a number of payroll and human resources apps.
Hyperproof uses Finch, a third-party API, to retrieve data from the payroll and human resources apps listed below. If you are interested in learning more about the permissions needed for Hypersyncs that use Finch, please refer to this document. Hyperproof uses the Directory
, Individual
, and Employment Endpoints
from Finch.
Note
Hypersyncs that use Finch to collect proof aren't supported in Hyperproof EU.
List of apps supported via Finch
When you create a Hypersync between Hyperproof and one of these apps, you can automatically collect the following proof types:
List of Employees
Employees with Change in Employment Status
Blocking sensitive data from appearing in proof
Finch's Employment Endpoint
typically includes sensitive data such as pay rates and social security numbers. If you want to block this information from appearing in Hypersync proof, it must be blocked during the initial Finch setup. Keep in mind that when processing data from any endpoint, only process and cache (or store) relevant fields and values.
Example scenario
A tech firm that uses Paylocity wants to block employees who use the Paylocity Hypersync from seeing other employees' salary information. When setting up the Paylocity API via Finch Connect, the firm's administrator used the Paylocity API Connect Instructions to locate the Web Services_Access Request
form. On this form, the administrator selected the Restricted checkbox, which prevents salary information and social security numbers from being shown.

Note
You only need to connect Hyperproof to the app once, and then you can create as many Hypersyncs as you need. Additionally, you can create multiple Hypersyncs for a single control or label.
