Working with requirements
Every compliance program must abide by its governing body's contents of laws and standards. In Hyperproof, requirements represent those laws and standards upon which a program is based. Depending on your type of business, you may have a program with anywhere from 25 to 500+ requirements!
Controls ensure that your program's requirements are being met. If you have a program that uses Hyperproof's illustrative controls, the controls are already linked to the appropriate requirements. If you created your own program, or if you chose not to link any illustrative controls, you can import your own controls and requirements.
Note
Requirements can not be edited if you use one of Hyperproof's program templates, e.g. ETSI or SOC 2. They can only be edited if you created your own program.
