F5 AIP proof types

Note

Hyperproof connects to many third-party systems that frequently change, including the system interface. Contact your System Administrator or the third-party provider for assistance meeting the requirements to integrate with Hyperproof and collect the proof you need.

When you create a Hypersync between Hyperproof and F5 AIP (formerly ThreatStack), you can automatically collect proof based on:

  • List of Users

  • List of Rules

Note

You only need to connect Hyperproof to the app once, and then you can create as many Hypersyncs as you need. Additionally, you can create multiple Hypersyncss for a single control or label.

Configuring F5 AIP to work with Hypersyncs

To create a Hypersync, you’ll need to know the following variables.

Accessing the variables

  1. Log in to the F5 Distributed Cloud console.

  2. Click App Infrastructure Protection.

    The App Infrastructure Protection page opens.

  3. Click Visit Service.

  4. From the left menu, click Settings, and then click Keys.

    The Keys page opens.

  5. Copy the following to your clipboard:

    • REST API KEY - API key for the user specified by USER_ID

    • ORGANIZATION_ID - Organization ID of the organization to access

    • USER ID - User ID of the API key holder
