Archiving and unarchiving an audit

Roles and permissions

The following roles can archive and/or unarchive an audit:

  • Administrators

  • Compliance managers with manager permissions for the audit

  • Users with manager permissions for the audit

  • External auditors who are members of the audit

Archiving an audit removes it from view, but doesn’t completely remove it from Hyperproof. This is helpful should you need to access an archived audit in the future.

Note

Any user who is a member of an audit can view the contents of an archived audit even though they may not have permission to unarchive it.

Archiving an audit

  1. From the left menu, select Audits.

  2. Select your audit.

  3. Select the ... (More options) tab, and then click Archive audit.

  4. Click I understand the consequences, archive this audit.

    The audit is now archived.

Unarchiving an audit

  1. From the left menu, select Audits.

  2. Click the arrow next to Audits, and then click Archived.

  3. Select the audit you want to unarchive.

The archived audit overview works the same as the active audit overview. You can select and view all components of the archived audit including requests, notes, and linked labels and proof.

  4. Click Unarchive.

    The Unarchive audit window opens.

  5. Click I understand the consequences, unarchive this audit.

The audit is unarchived. Any objects, such as labels and proof, linked to the audit before archiving are still in place.
