Control maintenance - Past due issues

A past due issue linked to a control causes the control to become unhealthy. Along with testing, freshness, implementation, and proof, Hyperproof takes the status of any issue linked to a control into account when determining the control's overall health. Even if there are five issues linked to the control and only one of those issues is past due, the control health status still becomes 'at risk'.

Remediating issues

The recommended way to remediate issues is with tasks. Tasks linked to issues work the same as they do in other areas of Hyperproof. When an issue arises, you can create a task on the issue to help you to plan, track, and delegate activities necessary for remediation. See Remediating issues with tasks.
