Catalog - Edit vendor relationships

This option pertains to the Hyperproof TPRM product line.

To add or update the parent or child relationships for a vendor:

  1. From the menu, select Vendors.

  2. Select Catalog.

    The Catalog window displays.

  3. Use the Search field at the top of the window to find the vendor you want to view.

    The list of matching vendors displays.

  4. Click the vendor tile.

    The Vendor window displays.

  5. Click the Edit icon next to Parent Entities or Child Entities.

    The Manage Entities window displays.

  6. To add a parent or child entity:

    1. Type the vendor name in the Search field to find the parent or child entity you want to add.

      Note

      If the vendor you want to configure as a parent or child entity is not already part of a catalog in your organization, you must add the vendor first. See Adding a vendor to a catalog.

      Vendors can have multiple parents and children.

    2. Select the vendor to add it as a parent or child entity.

      The new parent or child displays in the Manage Entities window.

  7. To delete a parent or child entity:

    • In the Manage Entities window, click the trash can icon next to the vendor you want to remove.

  8. Click the X in the Manage Entities window to close it.
