Hyperproof crosswalks
The problem
If your organization has been operating in operational silos, chances are you’re duplicating work. Hyperproof is designed to help streamline your control management process.
The solution
By mapping a smaller set of controls across multiple programs, your organization can unify and streamline its operations, saving weeks of duplicative work. Working with related requirements and leveraging Jumpstart in Hyperproof allows you to consolidate into a smaller, more manageable set of controls.
Hyperproof’s crosswalks cover 99% of the requirements in its program library, ensuring that most programs have at least some overlap. With over 150 frameworks mapped to nearly 2,500 topics, Hyperproof’s crosswalk dataset is the industry's largest and most granular mapping. This dataset is curated by our internal experts, assisted by high-reasoning LLMs (Gemini Pro, ChatGPT Pro, Claude Pro). Although the dataset is unique to Hyperproof, it is constructed using the Secure Controls Framework methodology.
Example scenario
Your organization already has an ISO 27001 program; now you want to set up a SOC 2 program. Hyperproof examines the requirements in both programs and maps the requirements from your ISO 27001 program to your SOC 2 program. Hyperproof calls these mapped requirements related requirements. Related requirements can be viewed in the details pane of any requirement in your Hyperproof instance. Optionally, members of your programs can add and remove related requirements, including your custom programs.
To map controls to your new SOC 2 program, you can leverage the jumpstart feature to immediately import your controls from your ISO 27001 program, using the related requirements as the connecting tissue.
Additional resources
Hyperproof has created an extensive crosswalk dataset. You can use the dataset workbook to inspect the changes, view and download crosswalks, and add comments/suggestions. See Using the crosswalk dataset.
