Editing an automated test

Roles and permissions

The following roles can edit a test:

  • Administrators

  • Compliance managers with manager permissions on the control

  • Users with manager permissions on the control

  • Control contributors can edit and archive tests they've created on the control

  1. From the left menu, select Controls.

  2. Select the control that corresponds with the test you want to edit.

  3. Select the Tests tab.

  4. Below Tests, click the test ID.

  5. Click Update cases.

    The Automated test window opens.

  6. Do one or both of the following:

    1. Mouse over a test case, and then click Edit to adjust proof behavior, field, operator, value, and/or result. You can also add additional conditions.

    2. Click New to add an additional test case. If you need more information on test cases, see Creating and running an automated control test.

  7. Click Save.
