Exporting evaluations

Roles and permissions

The following roles can export evaluations to a CSV or XLSX file:

  • Administrators

  • Compliance managers with manager permissions for the assessment

  • Users with manager permissions for the assessment

Evaluations can be exported to an XLSX or CSV file from an assessment where you are a member. The fields included in the export are different depending on the file format you select.

If you select XLSX format, all of the visible columns in the table on the Assessment > Evaluations tab are included in the order they appear.

Note

To include specific fields in your export file, such as custom fields, you must make sure they are displayed in the Grid View for the items you are exporting. Use the Settings option to select the fields you want to display in the Grid View and choose their display order. To access Settings, click the Gear icon on the top right corner of the grid.

To include specific records in your export file, use the Filter options to reduce the number of records displayed in the Grid view. Only items included in the Grid view are included in the export file.

If you select CSV format, all of the fields directly associated with the evaluations are exported, including:

  • Evaluation ID

  • Control ID or Requirement ID

  • Summary

  • Assignee

  • Description

  • Priority

  • Status

  • Due date

  • Observations

  • Linked controls

  • Linked labels

  • Linked programs

  • Linked audits

  • Linked risks

  • Linked vendors

  • Linked registers

  • Custom fields

To export evaluations:

  1. From the left menu, select Assessments.

  2. Select your assessment.

  3. Select the Evaluations tab.

  4. Select the checkboxes next to the evaluations you want to export. To select all evaluations, select the All checkbox in the upper-left corner of the grid.

  5. Click Export, then select Export evaluations (CSV) or Export evaluations (XLSX).

    The evaluations are exported.
