Roles and permissions
Hyperproof has a two-tiered, role-based system that allows administrators to manage what members of their organization can and cannot do. The two tiers, organizational and object, allow organizations to fine-tune who gets to see what, keeping in line with their particular data confidentiality requirements. Each member of an organization must be assigned a role within each tier.
Example scenario
Luna works in IT and is responsible for linking proof to 10 controls within her organization. Since Luna is only linking proof, and doesn’t need access to everything in her organization, she holds the role of user-contributor where user refers to the organizational tier and contributor refers to the object tier.
Note
The person who creates an object in Hyperproof, such as a control, becomes the manager of that object by default.
