Catalog field types

Understanding the different types of fields available will help you input and manage vendor data efficiently. Use this list of field types to add fields to a catalog section.
Action - Buttons or links that perform specific actions, such as triggering a workflow to start a project.
Binary - Toggle or binary input for boolean fields, such as Yes/No or True/False.
Date - Date picker for selecting dates.
Email - Capture and validate email addresses.
File - Field for uploading and managing files. Useful for attaching documents, such as contracts, terms, or PDF files.
Multi-select - Allows the user to select multiple options from a predefined list.
Phone - Capture and validate telephone numbers.
Rich text - Advanced text editor supporting formatting, lists, and embedded files. Use this field type for detailed descriptions or notes.
Single select - Allows the user to select one option from a predefined list of options.
Table - Embedded tables for structured data entry and display. Useful for managing lists of related items such as risks or assessments.
Tags - Allows the user to add labels for categorization with customizable colors.
Team - Assigns a team to the vendor.
Text - Simple text input for capturing straightforward information, such as Vendor names, addresses, and other text-based data.
URL - Capture and validate website URLs.
User - Allows a user to assign or display users associated with the vendor.
