Unlocking private proof
Roles and Permissions
The following roles can unlock private proof:
Administrators with manager permissions
Compliance managers with manager permissions
Users with manager permissions
You can unlock private proof to allow users with inherited access to view that proof. For more information on private proof, see Private proof and Configuring private proof.
To unlock private proof:
From the left menu, select Proof.
Use the Search all proof option to look for the piece of proof you want to unlock.
Tip
Click the Filter icon in the upper-right corner to filter results based on who owns the proof, who uploaded the proof, and/or when the proof was uploaded.
Click the name of the proof.
The proof viewer displays.
Click the facepile at the top of the proof viewer.
The Member access window displays.
Click the lock icon.
The Inherited access confirmation window displays notifying you that members of linked objects will be given inherited access as contributors.
Click Confirm.
Click Done to close the Member access window.
Click Done to close the proof viewer.
