Proof summary details

What proof types support generated summaries?

Proof is summarized for documents and images. Supported file extensions include:

  • Documents: doc, .docx, and .pdf (except for files uploaded by Hypersyncs)

  • Images: .png, and .jpg

How often does Hyperproof generate proof summaries?

Proof summaries are generated when proof is uploaded, but it may take upwards of 5 minutes to complete.

How do I provide feedback on summaries? What happens if a summary is wrong?

Proof summaries have a thumbs up / down option to provide feedback. If you put a thumbs down on a summary, you can then opt to provide more feedback about why the summary wasn't good by selecting one of the following options:

  • Inaccurate information

  • Too long

  • Too short

  • Other - Allows you to explain exactly what went wrong.

Summaries can't be removed from proof.

Where do proof summaries show up?

Proof summaries display in two locations:

  • In global search: If your search keyword matches something in the proof summary, the proof name and summary appear in search results to help you identify a specific piece of proof.

  • On the Proof viewer, when viewing a single piece of proof: When you open a piece of proof in the Proof viewer, the summary displays on the right-hand metadata panel in the AI Summary section.

Who can see proof summaries?

All direct and inherited members of the proof can read proof summaries. No one else can. Proof and their related summaries only appear in search results for users who already have access to read them.
