Dayforce proof types and permissions

This Hypersync is not supported in Hyperproof Gov.

When you configure a Hypersync for Dayforce on a control or label, you can automatically collect the following proof types:

Requirements

To connect to Dayforce and collect proof, your Dayforce configuration must meet the following requirements.

  • You must be a Dayforce administrator.

  • Configure a role for the integration and make it the Default role. To set a Role as the Default, go to System Admin > User. Find the User you want to update, click the User, and select the Is Default checkbox for the Role.

  • Configure feature access as follows:

    1. Select System Admin > Roles.

    2. Select Features.

    3. Make sure HCM Anywhere and Web Services are checked.

    4. Expand Web Services and make sure that Read Data is checked.

  • Configure authorizations. Navigate to Authorizations and select Can Read for the following:

    • Employee Contact Information

    • Employee Contact Information - Business

    • Employee Contact Information - Personal

    • Employee Personal Information

    • Employee Personal Information XrefCode

    • Employee Status Information

    • User Information

  • Configure Web Services field-level access as follows:

    1. Navigate to Web Services Field-level Access.

    2. Navigate to the RESTful Services > Human Resources > Employee.

    3. Turn on EffectiveStart, EffectiveEnd, and XRefCode.

    4. Enable the following fields:

      • FirstName

      • LastName

      • CommonName

      • Employee Managers - Right-click and Select All

      • Employment Statuses - Right- click and Select All

      • Employment Status Group - Right-click and Select All

      • Contacts and Addresses and all child nodes under RESTful Services > Human Resources > Employee

      • StartDate

      • HireDate

      • OriginalHireDate

  • Configure org-level access for the authenticating user

    1. Navigate to System Admin > User. The user authenticating will need Can See Self enabled.

    2. Expand the User and click Location Access, + Add Location, and add the Company Level Location.

Note

Hyperproof connects to many third-party systems that frequently change, including the system interface. Contact your System Administrator or the third-party provider for assistance in meeting the requirements to integrate with Hyperproof and collect the proof you need.

Connection configuration

When you configure a Hypersync for Dayforce the first time, you must provide the following information:

  • Account data - Choose Production or Sandbox data.

  • Company ID

  • Username

  • Password

The first time you run this Hypersync, it may take up to 24 hours to load all employee data.

Note

You only need to connect Hyperproof to the app once, and then you can create as many Hypersyncs as you need.

Additionally, you can create multiple Hypersyncs for a single control or label.
