Archiving and unarchiving a scope

Roles and permissions

  • Only administrators can archive and unarchive scopes

Archiving a scope removes it from view, but doesn’t completely remove it from Hyperproof. This is helpful should you need to access an archived scope in the future.

Archiving a scope

  1. From the left menu, select Settings.

  2. Select Scopes.

  3. Select the checkbox or checkboxes next to the scope or scopes you want to archive. To select a child scope, expand the parent scope, then select the checkbox next to the child scope.

  4. Click Archive.

  5. Click Confirm.

    The scope is archived.

Unarchiving a scope

  1. From the left menu, select Settings.

  2. Select Scopes.

  3. Click the Scopes drop-down menu, then click Archived.

The scope is unarchived. You can now assign it to a control.

Note that when a scope is unarchived, it retains the control or controls it was assigned as well as any associated automations and/or automated control tests.
