Work items: Tasks continued

You can view tasks you’ve created, are a member of, or that are assigned to you via the Work items tab.

To edit a task from the Work items tab, select the Tasks tab, and then select a task. Any changes you make here are reflected in the relevant object that the task is linked to. For example, if you change the description of a task linked to a label from Work items, the new description appears in the task if you access it from Labels.

Assigning a contact to a task

When you assign a contact a task, the contact receives an email where they can view the task outside of Hyperproof. The only action the contact can take is to add proof and submit. Once they’ve added and submitted their proof, the proof is accessible from the task and from the proof main list.

Note

Because a contact can only add proof, the owner of the task is responsible for updating the task status.

Using tasks with Jira

Hyperproof natively integrates with Jira. The Jira integration is bidirectional, meaning it provides a two-way sync of Jira issues and Hyperproof tasks, which allows you to manage your work without disrupting your workflow.

Refer to Creating a Jira issue in Hyperproof or Attaching an existing Jira issue to a task for more information.
