Reconnecting a connection on a Hypersync

When a connection for a Hypersync fails or has been manually disconnected, Hyperproof can't collect proof using that Hypersync. Other Hypersyncs that use the same connection won't be able to collect proof either.

In such cases, you can configure one new Hypersync to reestablish the connection, and then use the Change connection option on the remaining Hypersyncs to reconnect them.

To create a new connection by creating a Hypersync, see Connecting an app to Hyperproof and Creating a Hypersync.

To select a new connection for an existing Hypersync:

  1. From the left menu, select either Controls or Labels, depending on where the Hypersync that needs a new connection is located.

  2. Select the control or label containing the Hypersync.

  3. Select the Automations tab.

  4. Click the (...) More menu on the Hypersync card and select Change connection.

The Change Hypersync connection window displays.

  5. Choose a new connection for your Hypersync.
