Assigning Hyperproof roles in Okta for SCIM provisioning

Before assigning Hyperproof roles to users, you must configure Hyperproof and Okta for SCIM provisioning, See Provisioning Hyperproof users and groups with SCIM.

When you add a user to the Hyperproof app in Okta, a profile window displays with the user's information. Scroll down to the Hyperproof Role field and select a role from the drop-down list. If you don't select a role, when the user is added to Hyperproof they are assigned the default role of Limited access user. Possible roles include:

  • Admin

  • Compliance manager

  • User

  • Limited access user

Adding a user to the Hyperproof app triggers the synchronization between Hyperproof and Okta and sends the user to Hyperproof.
