Workday proof types and permissions

Note

Hypersyncs that use Finch to collect proof aren't supported in Hyperproof EU.

When you configure a Hypersync for Workday on a control or label, you can automatically collect the following proof types:

Blocking sensitive data

Finch's Employment Endpoint typically includes sensitive data such as pay rates and social security numbers. If you want to block this information from appearing in Hypersync proof, it must be blocked during the initial Finch setup. Sensitive data can't be blocked from within Hyperproof, it can only be blocked at the source. Keep in mind that when processing data from any endpoint, you should only process and cache (or store) relevant fields and values.

Note

If you receive information that you do not need, such as compensation information, you can exclude it by following the steps listed in this Workday article.

Note

Hyperproof connects to many third-party systems that frequently change, including the system interface. Contact your System Administrator or the third-party provider for assistance in meeting the requirements to integrate with Hyperproof and collect the proof you need.

Connection configuration

When you configure a  Hypersync for Workday the first time, you must provide the following information for the account you want to use to collect proof:

  • Username

  • Password

  • Custom Group Report JSON Endpoint - See this Finch document for information on adding your application as an administrator in Workday.

Note

You only need to connect Hyperproof to the app once, and then you can create as many Hypersyncs as you need. Additionally, you can create multiple Hypersyncs for a single control or label.
