Understanding the project window

This option pertains to the Hyperproof TPRM product line.

The Project Overview window is the central hub for managing projects. It includes multiple tabs, each offering specific features. The following sections provide a detailed description of each tab's features.

Accessing the project window

  1. From the menu, select Projects.

  2. Click a Project ID in the project list to open the project window.

Workflow tab

The Workflow tab manages workflow components by status and provides users with actionable options. Key features include:

  • Component status

    • Not Started - The component hasn't been started yet.

    • In Progress - Users can navigate to the detailed component page to update information or progress.

    • Completed - Users can click the View button to see a summary of the completed component.

  • Dynamic assignments - Components can be assigned or reassigned directly from the Workflow tab using the + icon.

Details tab

The Details tab provides a comprehensive summary of the project, offering both critical information and the ability to update key fields.

Project ID

A unique identifier automatically assigned by the system to the project.

Requester

The user or entity who started the project.

Project Type

The type or category of the project, such as Marketing, Engineering, or Development.

Project Status

Displays the current state of the project, including: Not Started, In Progress, Completed.

Read-only

Project Timeline

A timeline showing the start and end dates of the project.

Users can update the Start Date and End Date if project progress changes.

Entities

Entities or organizations associated with the project, such as vendors, teams, or clients.

Users can add, remove, or modify entities associated with the project.

Workflow

The name of the workflow template applied to the project.

Read-only

Current step

Highlights the current stage in the workflow pipeline, such as Design, Approval, and Delivery.

Read-only

Project Owner

The individual responsible for overseeing and managing the project.

Users can reassign the project owner to another person or team.

Created At

The timestamp when the project was created.

Chats tab

The Chats tab allows users to manage project-related communication effectively.

  • Start chats - Initiate new chats by clicking + Start chat and leaving a new message.

  • Sort - Chats can be sorted by Created date or Last modified date.

Audit tab

The Audit tab provides a detailed log of all actions taken within the project.

  • Audit logs - Display when the project was started and details of actions performed during the workflow. Logs include details such as the component that was updated, the user who made the update, and the changes made.

  • Comprehensive tracking - Every change in the project details, workflow, or components is logged here for reference and accountability.

Sidebar

The Sidebar displays a list of all Completed Components for quick access, providing a snapshot of all finalized work. Users can click on any completed component to view its summary directly.
