Archiving and unarchiving a scope
Roles and permissions
- Only administrators can archive and unarchive scopes
Archiving a scope removes it from view, but doesn’t completely remove it from Hyperproof. This is helpful should you need to access an archived scope in the future.
Archiving a scope
- From the left menu, select Settings.
- Select Scopes.
- Select the checkbox or checkboxes next to the scope or scopes you want to archive. To select a child scope, expand the parent scope, then select the checkbox next to the child scope.
- Click Archive. - The Review and confirm window opens.
- Click Confirm. - The scope is archived.
Unarchiving a scope
- From the left menu, select Settings.
- Select Scopes.
- Click the Scopes drop-down menu, then click Archived.
- Select the checkbox or checkboxes next to the scope or scopes you want to unarchive.
- Click Unarchive. - The scope is unarchived. You can now assign it to a control. - Note that when a scope is unarchived, it retains the control or controls it was assigned as well as any associated automations and/or automated control tests.
