Using the jumpstart feature
Roles and permissions
The following roles can use the jumpstart feature:
Administrators who are a member of the program they are jumpstarting from
Compliance managers who are a member of the program they are jumpstarting from
Before using the jumpstart feature, you must have the following:
A completed program with controls (the program you’ll jumpstart from)
A new program without controls (the program you’ll jumpstart to). If you need help creating a new program, refer to Creating a program.
Important: Do not select the Include controls checkbox when creating your new program!
To jumpstart a new program:

When you complete the jumpstart process you may still have some requirements without associated controls. To address this issue, you should conduct a gap assessment. For more information, see Gap assessment best practices.
From the left menu, select Programs.
Select your program (the one you'll jumpstart to).
Select the ... More options tab, and then click Jumpstart.
Locate the program that you want to jumpstart from, and then toggle on that program.
Note
You can jumpstart from multiple programs. However, there is no quick way to undo this action should you no longer need any of those controls. If necessary, you’ll need to unlink controls one by one.
Click Next.
The Linking controls window opens.
Click Confirm.
The controls are linked.
