Working with rich text fields

Rich text fields are fields where you can format the content using bold, italics, bulleted, or numbered lists, and much more. In Hyperproof, rich text fields are typically provided for descriptions and longer pieces of text, such as the Notes field on a control.

Note

For security reasons, Hyperproof doesn't support the following:

  • Pasting in formatted text. This is a security measure to prevent malicious code from being introduced. Text is pasted in as plain text and must be formatted directly in the rich text field.

  • Adding URLs that contain '@' within a site name, e.g. http://hyperproof.io@google.com.
