Table row and column permissions

Note

This option pertains to the Hyperproof TPRM product line.

Permissions can be configured at both the column level and row level, enabling fine-grained control over user access to data. Based on these permissions, users can either add or update fields. By combining column-level and row-level permissions, administrators can effectively manage access to sensitive data.

Column-level permissions

  • Permissions for columns can be configured during the creation or modification of the column.

  • These permissions determine which users or roles have access to view, edit, or update specific columns in the table.

Row-level permissions

  • Row-level permissions are configured at the table view level.

  • These settings control user access to specific rows of data, depending on the context in which the table is displayed or used.
