Deleting a repeating task
Roles and permissions
The following roles can delete a repeating task:
- Administrators 
- Compliance managers can delete repeating tasks they've created 
- Users can delete repeating tasks they've created 
Deleting a single repeating task
- From the left menu, select the tab that corresponds with the repeating task you want to delete. For example, if you want to delete a repeating task linked to a control, select the Controls tab. 
- Select the specific object that the repeating task is linked to. For example, if the repeating task is linked to control ID 1234, select that control. 
- Select the Automations tab.  
- Hover over the repeating task you want to delete, then click the Delete icon. - The Delete repeating task window opens. 
- Optionally, select the checkbox if you want to cancel all open tasks associated with the repeating task. 
- Click Delete. - The repeating task is deleted. 
Deleting repeating tasks in bulk
- From the left menu, select Work items. 
- Select the Repeating tasks tab. 
- Select the checkboxes next to the repeating tasks you want to delete. 
- Click Delete. - The Review and confirm window opens. 
- Optionally, select the checkbox if you want to cancel all open tasks associated with the repeating task. 
- Click Confirm. - The repeating tasks are deleted.
